Joe Maffei was a butcher in a small corner town butcher shop for many years before he founded Grant Park Packing in 1974. Well aware of the importance of providing individual attention and strong customer service to maintain a successful business, the Maffei's continue to emphasize the same values today as they did when Grant Park opened. For thirty years, excellent customer service has been Grant Park Packing's mainstay and will continue to be in the future. A dissatisfied customer is not an option with Grant Park Packing.
Still family owned, Grant Park Packing has expanded exponentially since it opened. Grant Park Packing boasts strong repeat clientele, is a member of the Randolph Fulton Market Association of Chicago, and is a federally inspected packing house, enabling us to ship anywhere in the United States.
Although we've grown as a company, our products are just as fresh and adhere to the same high quality standards as when we opened thirty years ago. Along with our sister company, Pork King Packing, we process thousands of whole hogs daily, ensuring our customer of the finest quality pork products available. Our pigs are all Butcher hogs and range between 20 and 200 pounds each. Volume is never an issue with Grant Park Packing. From special cuts to high volume orders, we can deliver it quickly to your destination, hence our motto, "Always on the Go."
